WHO’S THE COURSE FOR?

This course is for site supervisors and managers who are responsible for inspecting and checking scaffolds for safe use, and for signing certificates and registers in accordance with statutory regulations.

COURSE AIMS AND BENEFITS

To develop in Candidates an understanding of scaffolding components, forms of construction and inspection procedures of basic access scaffolds, to comply with relevant current legislation and Codes of Practice.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Candidate must have held a certificate in Safe Erection and Dismantling of Scaffolds Part B for a minimum of 12 months while also gaining site experience.

QUALIFICATION / CERTIFICATION

JO Certificate – Safe Inspection of Scaffold – SIS (3 years validity period)
