PRACTICAL WELDING SKILL TRAINING

WHO’S THE COURSE FOR?

This course for those who are keen to develop basic skills in welding and for others who wish to acquire the required certification for their work. This training can be a basic, refresher or advanced level, customized to your requirements. Available in 3 levels: Level 1: 3G Level 2: 6G Level 3: 6GR

COURSE AIMS AND BENEFITS

To provide the knowledge and certification in practical welding skills for commonly used methods in Oil & Gas and Construction industry.

At the end of the course, candidates will have knowledge of:
Welding parameters and effects on the melt pool
Features of welding
Correct terminology used in welding
Control of consumables used welding imperfections

COURSE CONTENT

Health and Safety Awareness
Interpretation of simple drawings and welding procedures
Flame cutting
Welding parameters
Practical welding
Visual inspect and checking of welds
Course knowledge assessment

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Some site experience would be advantageous. Able to read and write in English. Medically Fit for Work.
